So today was my first real day of INSANITY.  It surprisingly wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.  Don't get me wrong, it kicked my butt and I had to take several breaks, but I guess I thought it might actually kill me. Have you seen the people in the videos?? 

The fitness test was a workout in itself, and my calves hurt the next day. I took the fitness test on Friday, so I rested over the weekend to give it my best start today (Monday).  I'm hoping I'll be able to move tomorrow to do day 2!

I'm also cracking down on my eating habits today, had a smoothie for breakfast and have a healthy wrap and watermelon for lunch.  One thing that I can't let go of is coffee... and my coffee habit has included a good dose of sugary creamer.  I have recently switched over to almond milk creamer (I think it's organic?), so that isn't as bad as the other crud that I used to put in my coffee, and I'm cutting back on it.  Making improvement. :)  But seriously, I need my caffeine and coffee just tastes like dirt to me without creamer, so either I function with it or don't function.  The latter really isn't an option. Maybe one day I'll try working on that more, but for now my nutrition focus is on my eating habits.
